Notes: Home shirt as worn at the 2006 World Cup, where Holland were knocked out in the Round of 16 by Portugal in the famous “Battle of Nuremberg”. During this match, Valentin Ivanov (Russian referee) issued four red cards (Costinha, Deco, Boulahrouz and van Bronckhorst) and 16 yellow cards, setting a new record for cards shown at any FIFA-adminestered international tournament.
